Rooms are already very limited for the Fall and going into the Winter. Have you missed the play area inside the queue for Dumbo? Are you happy to see its return? Let us know in the comments below! some social distancing signage has been removed from outdoor queues and some queues now have 3 feet of social distancing vs. In outdoor dining areas, all social distancing signage was recently removed. It is also important to note that since this area is indoors, masks are still required in the queue for all Guests ages 2 and older. However, it probably won’t be too much longer that these are around as well. While the play area has reopened, social distancing markers in the queue for Dumbo appear to be sticking around just a little bit longer. It’s nice to see more and more things returning back to normal and those play areas coming back. When all the Walt Disney World Theme Parks reopened last Summer after the extended COVID-19 closure, most play areas were shut down to promote social distancing. Letting children run around in the indoor play area while everyone else had a chance to sit back and relax is always a good idea! In the days of FastPasses (Which were are all hoping coming back super soon!), I would always advise my clients NOT to get one for this attraction. You will then receive a Dumbo-themed pager that will alert you when it is your time to take flight on the iconic attraction. That air conditioning really comes in handy under the hot, Florida sun!Īnyone riding Dumbo can access the play area when they enter the inside portion of the queue under the big top. It gives the little ones an opportunity to run around and let some steam off while us parents sit in a comfortable – and air conditioned – space. The play area inside the queue for Dumbo is one of my favorite hidden gems in all of the Disney Parks. I am so excited to report that the play area inside the queue for Dumbo at the Magic Kingdom as things continue to return to normal at Walt Disney World!
